Hello

Hello, and thank you for visiting my practice. I am Briana, a Licensed Professional Counselor. Higher
Peaks represents the steps we take to reach our goals. Whether they are physical or emotional
improvement goals, the more we meet them, the higher we set them. Along the ups and down of this
climb, we may need support and encouragement.

I have a commitment to supporting individuals through diverse challenges. My therapeutic approach,
rooted in trauma-informed and person-centered principles, demonstrates an understanding and
empathy for individuals navigating their healing journeys. My therapy modalities include CBT, EMDR,
forward facing trauma therapy, and some solution focused strategies. I have trauma certifications in
addition to EMDR training. I am a certified crisis interventionist and trainer. I also am certified to work
with first responders and their families.

As a Hispanic and first-generation college graduate, my personal connection to cultural challenges and
generational trauma adds a unique dimension to my practice. I have a passion for those navigating paths
away from cultural demands and strive to help others in their own battles.

I have pride in meeting individuals where they are in their healing journey, collaborating on treatment
goals, and creating a safe space for self-discovery and personal growth. I believe in the power of a
supportive and empowering therapeutic relationship.
